Its founder, Marius Ursache, was surprised by the success of the idea, but didn't make it come true just yet.

As of 2020, eterni.me is still just a project, there was a closed beta programme that was available just to a few people, but it was closed down quickly because Ursache said it was not satisfactory enough.

Other such programmes and projects are being created as we speak. The question of Digital life after death is not a question of if, but a question of when.
